Reacción a "Reaction: implementing green axes in Barcelona could reduce antidepressant use and visits to mental health professionals"

This study conducts a mental health impact assessment of the Eixos Verds programme, which aims to increase green spaces in Barcelona. Potential mental health benefits of the programme are found.  

The research group has extensive experience in the use of health impact assessment methodology, and there are no methodological problems beyond those expected.  

Some of these limitations are that it is difficult to measure whether these health effects will benefit the whole population equally, or whether the Eixos Verds programme will have consequences on the housing market in the areas of application.
